- Fuze Health announced that Optum Hospice Pharmacy Services (originally HospiScript) is now Fuze Care Services.
- Sunny Patel, MD, MBA, FACEP, noted "There are now about 64 million people age 65 or older living in the U.S. In just five years, the CBO estimates, there will be eight million more.” It is unsettling that the number of new jobs created is proportionally more heavily influenced by the healthcare sector. However, as geriatric care becomes an evermore increasing and important part of the care we provide, it is reasonable the number of healthcare workers required will need to increase. It will be difficult for AI to fill most of these jobs (at least in the next decade).
